OUR PROCESS

Saluda River Coffee is an independent, locally owned coffee roastery in Greenville, SC. Since our green coffee has been selected based on it’s specialty grade quality, our process is intentional and as local as possible. We work closely with South Carolina born importing facilities who work in specialty grade, green coffee.

Our COFFEE

Saluda River Coffee currently offers four roasts:  Nicaragua, Guatemala, Colombia, and Latin American Blend. Each of these is carefully roasted to maintain the integrity of those flavors--the acidity, sweetness, complexity and nuttiness.

We firmly believe that great, thoughtfully sourced coffee should be available to everyone.

Partnerships

We are proud to announce a new partnership with local conservation group Save Our Saluda. Save Our Saluda works to protect and restore water resources in the Upper Saluda Watershed through environmental awareness and citizen action. SOS strives to educate the public about our watershed and river issues. They monitor and identify threats facing the river and its tributaries and seek effective solutions. They also advocate for clean and sustainable river flows, riparian protection, and public access to our waters. Please learn more about them at the Save Our Saluda website.

This year we have also begun a partnership providing coffee and fundraising for the, Nicholtown based, Eleos ministry. Eleos facilitates tutoring, Tuesday night basketball & dinner, and numerous youth mentoring programs through a CO-OP work-space on Laurens Road in Greenville, SC. Please visit the Eleos Ministry website for more details, and please consider becoming a volunteer tutor!

Other groups we proudly support include, but are not limited to: The Walk to End Alzheimer’s and Cranksgiving: The annual Paris Mountain Downhill Mountain Biking Race.
